Border in blue

A color statement.

With neutrals being showcased constantly, it’s refreshing to see clients and design professionals turn to the ever regal color palettes awarded by true blue.

A fast favorite with an opulent vibe, blue points to serenity, royalty, and grace- while working beautifully with a variety of mixed metals and layering pieces.

Bolder in blue.

Granted, a dining space should be cozy, warm, spacious, and inviting. This open spaced layout is airy and checks off all the boxes, but we added a color pop with blue velvet seating in an iconic deep ocean blue shade. Rather than oversaturate the room with blue, a neutral hue graces the seat back, yet its open cut chair back design allows for all the blue to show its thunder. Of course, we paired the blues with soothing, yet bold, timeless artwork to round out the space to perfection.

Art to art deco.

Blue is king in some spaces, yet for this one it was a clever afterthought. After the client wanted a white oasis, a color pop was decided upon which can easily be alternated on a seasonal basis. Think boldly blue pillows layered with white boucles. Differently shaped art deco mirrors and coordinating wall decor. Subtle splashes of color in an otherwise contemporary rug.

We love the possibilities when it comes to color pairing…
