The Art of Artwork:

Integrated art vs. Freestanding design.
As with all things design, there are so many factors that influence the decisions involved in creating a space. Design is now no longer an afterthought, but a process- with artistic elements taking as much attention as the central pieces of a room.
When creating the perfect space with an Accentuations or Abode furniture specialist, all components are combined, factored in, and deliberated over with the client and design team.
The art enthusiast: Many of our clients build a room around a favorite painting, so we enlist the help of our design team to celebrate just that.
The freestyle client: Some clients prefer the design thoughts of our team or their individualized designer, paying little to no attention to the details. We still place great emphasis on the intricacies and do our utmost to make the room stand out and be in sync with our client’s taste and budget.
The deep thinker: Other clients’ inspo run deep and we go along with them on the design journey that best captures their sense of style.
The designer: A client that’s a stylist by nature will know just what he/ she desires, but sometimes the extra dose of inspiration or collaboration can pin the perfect finish to an already aspiring design.
Ambience with art.

Genres of art can influence the furniture layout, color tones, and space planning of a room. When a client specifically centers a space around a particular artist, we delve into the details to capture the palette, the vibe, and the atmosphere to perfection. Pictured here, we merged modern sofa curvature and delicately ridged tables in varied heights to mirror the expressive forms of muted gold and ivory tones of the wall artwork.
Mirroring a trend.

When a client requests comfort, ambient lighting, and a timeless space that’s as rugged as it is beautiful, we sometimes opt for more random pops of wall decor. Curved wall hung mirrors lend a fresh open spaced appeal, while giving a subtle industrial vibe to an already favorite neutral space.
Just judaica.

A more modern nod toward Judaica paintings, this client favorite was an integral part of their living space, so we perfectly complemented the tones with sleek and toned down mid grey sofas, with a fresh display of mod mouldings, contemporary lighting, and a stone slab fireplace addition.
Modern murals.

Here, we completed a signature built in wall space and gave it just the right finish with the addition of modern blue tones in a perfectly aligned artwork choice. It’s always in the details…
